Someone Like You

At the 2012 Grammy Awards, the big winner of that night was Adele. She picked up six awards: Album of the Year (21), Record of the Year (“Rolling in the Deep”), Song of the Year (“Rolling in the Deep”), Best Pop Solo Performance (“Someone Like You”), Best Pop Vocal Album (21), and Best Short Form Music Video (“Rolling in the Deep”).


I like Adele’s song, especially the song of “someone like you”. I recently became addicted to the song and cannot stop.


The song 'Someone Like You' is about a girl who was in a relationship with a guy who has now found a new love. Adele sings about being happy for this man she once loved and sings that one day she'll find someone just like him.


“Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead.” In the lyrics, that she’ll move on, but the music circles around the same notes, never resolving, never finding peace.
